Liu Shiwen Lost In The Asian Olympic Qualifier
Liu Shiwen celebrated her 25th birthday yesterday while the draw for the Asian Olympic Qualifier was announced. For her, the result of the draw was normal and she didn’t feel any signs of big pressure. She also said that she is excited and hope she can participate in the Rio Olympics. Today, unfortunately, she was not able to perform well as expected.  Sina Sports. The Asian Olympic Qualifier started today and it was not a good start for the top seed Liu Shiwen who posted a defeat today.  
 Liu Shiwen and the rest of the Chinese Women’s Team arrived in Hong Kong last weekend for the Asian Olympic Qualifier, and yesterday, the draw for the competition was released. Aside from that, it was also the birthday of the world’s number one, Liu Shiwen.   
When interviewed by Sina Sports, Liu Shiwen revealed her birthday wish. “First, I hope that I would be able to participate in the Olympic Games, then win the title for the Chinese Team.” Liu Shiwen said.   
As for the draw, Liu Shiwen is not much bothered. “The result of the draw was quite normal. As of now, my confidence is okay. Actually, it is the same for everyone and will continue to fight. This is my first time to play in this kind of competition. I’m very excited. I hope to fully enjoy it.” She added.   Today, April 13, Liu Shiwen faced Doo Hoi Kem of Hong Kong, and it was a 2-4 defeat for the Chinese top seed. She lost in 9-11, 5-11, 10-12, 12-10, 11-4, 7-11. This will definitely sound the alarm for the coaching staff once again.
